Fattoria Dianella has produced Chianti wine over the last three centuries following the traditional techniques for making an excellent Chianti.

The Farm is part of the property of Villa Dianella that was an hunting lodge of the Medici family. Set in the small village of Dianella in Vinci near Florence, Fattoria Dianella has produced Chianti wine for the last 300 years.

The area of Vinci in Florence western surroundings is part of the Montalbano area, that is the smallest Chianti DOCG district for Chianti wine production. The Chianti Montalbano is renowned to be a smooth wine with deep flavors.

Fattoria Dianella estate stretches for about 90 hectares, 20 of which are vineyards and 15 hectares are olive groves. The production of wine is followed with passion by the owners, from the vineyards to the cellars, because they believe that wine and oil have to be the expression and result of their own territory.

Following this belief, Fattoria Dianella offers wine tastings and cellars tours near Florence aiming to share owners' passion with other people. Visitors have the opportunity to discover every past and present tradition of Chianti wine production, from the harvest to the cellars.

Wine tours near Florence at Fattoria Dianella guides visitors through all the process for making excellent Chianti wine: from the ancient wine cellars with oak barrels to the underground cellar, going through many different rooms and stages of the production. Along the path are displayed several ancient tools and machines in order to explain the long history and tradition of Fattoria Dianella.

After the tour to this famous wine cellars in Vinci visitors can enjoy the pleasure of wine tastings in Vinci. The wines are of course produced at Fattoria Dianella and are accompanied by tipycal Tuscan food.

Visitors can choose from 3 different menus for Chianti Montalbano wine tastings. Each menu has different Chianti wines to be tasted accompanied by bruschette (roasted bread), cheese, ham and salami. It's possible to taste the typical Vinsanto with cantuccini (biscuits with almonds).

Wine tastings and wine cellar tour are scheduled every Tuesday and Thursday at 3 p.m. at Fattoria Dianella. Upon request can be organized every day during the week. Visitors can buy wine at the winery direct sale.
