A SELECTION OF PRODUCTS IN RESPECT OF THE TRADITION
THE TRADITION OF THE CHIANTI DIANELLA IS LOST IN THE MISTS OF TIME.
The vineyards, 25 hectares in organic conversion, have an average density of 5500 plants per hectare and a spur cordon training system. The most present variety of grapes is the Sangiovese together with Colorino, Malvasia from Chianti, Cabernet Sauvignon, Vermentino and Vermentino.
The olive-groves have an extension of about 15 hectares made by different varieties like Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino and Moraiolo, which make the extraordinary Dianella olive oil rich of intensity and personality.
Francesco and Veronica Passerin d’Entrèves offers a selection of products made in respect of the tradition and of the philosophy that the wine must be expression of its “terroir”. Besides the Chianti, the estate propose the “Chianti Riserva”, “Le Veglie di Neri”, “ Il Matto delle Giuncaie”, “Sereno e Nuvole”, “All’Aria Aperta” and “Dolci ricordi”, names inspired by the novels of the writer Renato Fucini. The most recently created wine is the sparkling rosè “Maria Vittoria and Ottavia”, a 100% Sangiovese sparkling produced following the “ancestrale” method, and whose name carries the names of Veronica and Francesco’s two daugthers.
